Penelope Vasquez

Born and educated in England, Penelope Vasquez has worked in many parts of the world.

Penelope joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1999 and has participated in numerous successful transactions. Her commitment to service and her tenacity in conducting business are endorsed by her many repeat clients. She has worked on residential, land and commercial transactions and completed the rigorous Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment in Real Estate of the CCIM Institute.

Prior to emigrating to the USA in 1981, her travels and work include tourism in Spain, working with the Argentine Embassy in Jamaica and then traveling to Venezuela and Nicaragua, where for six years she joined the corporate world of the Bank of America and became the head of Operations for the Venezuela Representative Office of 60 persons.

With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry in the USA, Penelope has a firm commitment to the highest level of service and the ability to listen to people from all walks of life. Together with her husband, Marcelo, she has successfully owned and operated three restaurants, one of which achieved national acclaim.

After surviving a revolution, a hurricane and an earthquake, Penelope finds that there is very little that proves an insurmountable challenge. Now settled in Santa Fe, Penelope loves the lifestyle here and is an avid hiker and lover of the outdoors. She is a member of the Santa Fe Search and Rescue Team and on the Santa Fe Association of Realtors Community Services Committee
