My husband and I have spoke to several realtors in the area and we were left with more questions and/or disappointment. Then we were referred to Penny O’Neil at Home Connection who is very knowledgeable of buying and selling homes as well as very considerate and very tentative to her clients wants, musts, needs, and maybe some unrealistic ideas (she actually listens) and her searches are not something less of your requests in your personal home search. She would NEVER try to put you in a home that you may not feel good about or maybe cannot afford or to big to maintain or try push sale just for her benefit. She actually took time for us to view a home in North Judson to see house we found and we did not feel it fit us when we got there and walked in the door, we did not even get past the living room, I felt bad it was very long drive and gas was at its highest at the time but she was so wonderful she told me and my husband, we will continue our search to find your forever home this is not it for you with no pushing the house, hesitation or attitude. In addition, we felt she watched out for our best interest, more then we did sometimes the excitement can cloud your judgment when viewing homes so it was nice to have someone to trust, more then some other realtors that we worked with. Penny always made us feel confident and comfortable that we were would find the perfect forever home which we did. I would recommend Penny O’Neil with Home Connection as well as her staff 110% (super nice group of people) if you are in the market to buy or sell or both.

Penny was wonderful with the recent sale of my father's house. We have worked with her in the past with the purchase of our own home and knew exactly who to call when it was time to sell his. She is very easy to get a hold of and if you have to leave a message, she is very quick to respond. We feel she is trustworthy and very easy to work with. She knows her business!!

I just want to say how wonderful Penny O'Neill is from Home Connection. this past year she sold a commercial property for me sold a house for my daughter purchased a house for sale from her for my daughter and also purchased a condo for my other daughter. She is a great realtor and it was a pleasure working with her she is awesome!

Penny was awesome to work with. We live out of state and Penny was there for us every step of the way while selling my Father in laws home after he passed. Her recommendations of what work to do and not do were spot on and the home sold after it was barely on the market. Penny knows the market and will be an excellent choice to help with your home search/purchase.

Real people helping real people. I'm from Merrillville but moved to central Indiana. My parents lived in Merrillville. My stepfather passed away earlier this year, & Mom decided she wanted to sell their home & move down here to be closer to my older sister & me. Trust, compassion, respect, diligence, thoughtfulness & honesty. This is Penny O'Neill & the staff at Home Connection in a wonderful, little nutshell. I have an incredibly stressful job, sprinkle that with the death of someone very dear to me, add in that my newly widowed elderly mother was 2 hrs away, AND lastly she needed to close her house, days before we could close on our house. YIKES! But you know what? We did it with the help of Home Connection. Thank you!

I have found her to be be professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Her staff has worked hard to make sure everything was in place to close, especially important during these tough times.
