About Pete

Pete was born in Sanford and graduated from Lee Senior High School in 1978. After graduating from East Carolina University in 1982, he moved to Seven Lakes and has been a Moore County Resident ever since. Seven Lakes already felt like home, as Pete's father was one of the developers of Seven Lakes in the early 70's and the family spent free time at their lake-side cabin. Prior to Real Estate, Pete was a building, electrical and plumbing inspector, and owner of a construction company.

Pete became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 1994. In the 30 years since, he has also developed several successful residential communities. His great interest in land development and knack for finding the perfect parcel for his clients has earned Pete the moniker “The Land Man.”

Pete Mace maintains the absolute belief that his clients' needs and his relationship with his clients are paramount! Real estate is not just about the business transaction. To him, his clients' real estate experiences are about the long-term relationship that is formed between the client and the Realtor®.

Away from Real Estate activities, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife Joanne, and two children, Justin, a twenty nine year old Real Estate Broker and Sterling, a 21 year old , Entrepreneur as well. Pete can be seen on the golf course with one or both of his sons and enjoying the Coast when he can.
