About Peter
Peter has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002, driven by a long-standing fascination with real estate. What began as a part-time pursuit for personal investment quickly evolved into a passion for helping friends, family, and referrals buy and sell homes. At the time, he was also working as a contractor, managing and selling multiple projects simultaneously—an experience that continues to serve his clients well today.
He purchased his first home at the age of 21, a “fixer-upper” he shared with roommates. That initial renovation sparked a series of home flips, eventually leading to a deeper journey into real estate investing. Alongside his wife, Lesley, and their three daughters, he has flipped six homes, owned rental properties, subdivided land, built a home, and currently holds vacant land for future development.
Outside of real estate, he enjoys hunting, billiards, biking, and spending time with his family. Whether it’s summer bike rides and swimming or winter sledding, skiing, and ice skating, family time is a priority. As his daughters grow, youth activities like soccer, tennis, and piano lessons have become a central part of their lives.
His background in construction is a major asset to his clients. With a trained eye for quality and structure, he helps buyers identify potential issues and estimate renovation costs, while guiding sellers on which improvements will yield the best return on investment.
In 2008, like many across the country, he faced a turning point. Contracting no longer supported his growing family, prompting a full-time transition into real estate. He joined a leading internet-based real estate company, where he helped hundreds of clients buy and sell homes.
In 2015, he launched Pro Flat Fee Realty, where he now serves as broker and owner. Though he had been a licensed broker for over eight years, this marked a new chapter in his career. He believes technology is reshaping the real estate industry, reducing the need for traditional full-commission models. While expert representation remains essential, he advocates for fairer, more transparent pricing.
He is customer service–driven, not sales-driven, and works at his clients’ pace. Whether working with first-time buyers, move-up sellers, or seasoned investors, he is committed to providing honest, knowledgeable, and personalized service every step of the way.
