A Texas native, Phil was born in El Paso, TX at Fort Bliss military base. Phil grew up in San Antonio and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and has held multiple positions within national banks like California Federal Bank and Bank of America specializing in collections, loan origination, financial marketing, REO liquidation, land acquisition and portfolio management. Phil has years of experience in sales, management, and development of single family site built and manufactured home communities throughout the state of Texas.
Phil is a third-generation licensed real estate broker, land developer, consultant and owner of Essex Properties, Texas Rural Capital, and GetSomeLand.com. Phil has been recognized as one of the top 10 realtors in Texas, San Antonio and has won the Platinum Top 50 Realtor awards multiple times. Phil holds industry membership positions with the San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, Ft Worth Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors.
Phil has consulted, developed, managed, and successfully exited numerous single family subdivision projects throughout the State of Texas. Phil’s developments span 10 to 1,000 acres in size, and have produced over 200 million in gross sales revenue with zero failures. Phil partners with large banks, corporate & private investors, and land owners throughout Texas.
