About Phillip
Phillip Rodocker’s real estate career began in 1989, when he started selling log homes. Just two years later, he joined John L. Scott after a friend introduced him to the company. Now over 30 years later, Phillip helps clients buy and sell residential properties in many areas, including Maple Valley, Renton, Enumclaw, Issaquah, Sammamish, Black Diamond and Newcastle.
Buying or selling a home can be intimidating, and Phillip’s initial approach when working with clients is assuring them of the knowledge he’s gained through his experience over the years. He prioritizes educating clients, ensuring they understand the process of buying or selling a home. To Phillip, servicing a client means helping them feel comfortable, happy and confident with their choice of broker. He wants to serve as a full-time advocate for clients, helping them through what can be one of the most successful transactions of their life.
As marketing is ever-changing in the business world, Phillip always keeps his finger on the pulse of the latest technologies in the industry. While no listing is the same, he often uses professional photos with staging, open houses and internet advertising. His decades of experience in real estate and in the local market, coupled with an eye for “what’s next,” set him apart from the competition.
As the years have progressed, Phillip’s real estate interests have grown and evolved, as he strives for constant learning and improvement. In 1996, his passion for helping first-time home buyers led to him developing courses and seminars on the topic. Later, his focus shifted to aiding clients looking to sell their home, which he currently puts most of his energy into due to his success and passion for this sector. Recently, Phillip opened his business up to working with investors looking to flip properties to learn more about this area of the industry.
Having lived in the Maple Valley area for his whole life, Phillip and his wife are dedicated to help those in need within the community. A local organization he and his wife are involved with is Vine Maple Place, which is dedicated to providing hope, help and housing to parents and children facing homelessness. He also spends much of his spare time volunteering at a local church, sitting on the board of directors and assisting at service every Sunday. Phillip donates to charities supporting people living in third-world poverty and also donates to Seattle Children’s Hospital. The John L. Scott concept of Living Life as a Contribution™ speaks to Phillip, as he strongly believes in the importance of putting effort toward giving back, both in and out of daily work life.
