Pia is an outstanding agent, who listens and works with her clients very closely. We were selling and buying, in order to accommodate urgent changing needs of our handicapped parent. Pia worked with us diligently, keeping our needs in mind-always with a smile and an approach that helped us in the process of finding the right home in the short time we had and selling the current one. She never hesitated to give us a hand, helping out with anything we might need, including sprucing up the home and yard for a better showing. She has indepth, current knowledge of the markets, and thorough in her research and negotiations-which helped us greatly. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any real estate needs.

Below is a summary of how Pia helped me close.

1.ON DAY 1
On day one she shared a neat infographic that describes the entire home buying process, along with which documents/payments will be due at each step. I like to research as much as possible before making a major decision and although I had a general idea of all the steps I will go through, it was helpful to have an infographic to reference and Pia’s expertise to answer my questions. The infographic was specific to the NoVa area too which was helpful since most online material is written for the broader US audience and doesn’t include information on the NoVa market.
2.FROM DAY 1 TO THE DAY YOU FIND THE HOME YOU LOVE
Most people use websites like RedFin and Zillow to search for homes but a good realtor helps you leverage these tools and Pia did just that. While I was searching for homes, I shared my criteria with Pia and she set up search alerts through her own systems. After I shared a few links of different homes, Pia quickly picked up on my taste and sent me EXCELLENT recommendations (the home I live in now was actually one she found, and I couldn’t be happier). We visited nearly half a dozen until I entered one that I loved. Pia was helpful and friendly and really helped relieve stress from the process…she always reminded me that she knows this phase can be stressful and we can go to as many homes as I wanted to see. Visiting homes with Pia feels like you are visiting homes with a close friend or family member that’s truly looking out for you. I recall Pia swaying me away from a home I liked because the interior would have been complicated to renovate (something she knew I was excited about).
3.ON THE DAY YOU FIND THE HOME YOU LOVE
When you find the home you like, you have to move fast and smart before another buyer beats you to it. In this situation your realtor is your vehicle, you can only move as fast as they can. Pia moved fast - BLAZINGLY fast. Pia immediately contacted the seller’s agent to express interest and drafted up an offer contract for me to review and digitally sign. She added clever escalation clauses to my offer to give me the highest chance of winning while protecting me against any risks. (If you choose Pia as your agent, ask her about how you can fortify your contract, especially if the home you are after is hot)
4.FROM THE DAY YOU FIND THE HOME YOU LOVE TILL CLOSING DAY
This phase was like clockwork. Pia connected me with a lender, scheduled the inspection, and was with me through every moment. She knew I was excited about this and she shared in my excitement by taking me to visit the place several times before closing.
5.ON CLOSING DAY
On closing day, Pia picked me up and gave me a run through of what to expect. The closing process was smooth and I was out of with the keys to my new house in no time. Wohoo!

Maria did an amazing job representing me in both the purchase and sale of my condo. She was very easy to communicate with via text or phone call at any time of day. She was very trust worthy and took the time to break down all contract details and updates. She even came with me to the closing table both on the purchase as well as sale of the property and even noticed an issue with improper taxation on one of the documents. I highly recommend her!
