Rachael Johnston

After a 20+ year career in the insurance industry, Rachael chose a career change in 2000, obtaining her Real Estate Salesperson's license. In August of 2003, Rachael launched the opening of Johnston & Associates Real Estate in Thompson. As Broker/Owner, Rachael has received many sales awards from the Eastern CT Association of Realtors along with earning the coveted Master's Club Award given to the top 5% of all agents. A lifetime resident of Thompson and a proud graduate of Tourtellotte Memorial High School, Rachael and her husband Shawn live in West Thompson. Their family include a son Ryan & wife Amanda of Thompson, son Jeff of Dorchester, MA, and Sophie the Golden Doodle the office mascot. Active in her community, Rachael has served as Chairperson of Tourtellotte Memorial High School Project Graduation, Chairperson of the Turkey Dip for Muscular Dystrophy, member of the Putnam Rotary, board member of the TMHS Alumni Association & NECT Chamber of Commerce. Rachael is a member of Eastern Connecticut Association of REALTORS® (ECAR), National Association of REALTORS®, and Connecticut Association of Realtors®.
