A Lyons Kansas native, Rachael Jones is REALTOR® with Elgin Realty LLC, the premier resource for all real estate information and services in Elgin, Oklahoma, and surrounding areas. Rachael understands the challenges and sacrifices of military families, herself a military spouse. Rachael and her family have moved multiple times, with a few moves coming with minimum notice. This experience allowed her to become adept at the art of military, government, and corporate relocations and the motivation for her becoming a certified Military Relocation Professional®. Along the way, Rachael has bought and sold homes of her own, as well as rental property.
As a real estate client who is also a REALTOR®, she has been on both sides of the client/agent relationship. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Rachael worked as a Recruiter in Human Resources Department of the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, and as a Recruiter for Aloha Care, a local, non-profit health plan founded in 1994 by Hawaii’s Community Health Centers. As a recruiter, her primary responsibility was to communicate with hiring managers and applicants, matching the right job candidates with the right positions. As a REALTOR®, she will communicate with buyers and sellers, matching the right home with the right family.
Rachael was born to a family steeped in agriculture, growing up in a small farming community, and herself being raised on the family’s farm in Central Kansas. She embodies the culture and values of Elgin and the surrounding community, which emphasize honesty, cooperation, respect, and service to the community. In her personal life, Rachael volunteers with the Elgin Senior Center & Elgin Public Schools. Rachael was awarded ‘Citizen of the Year’ by the Elgin Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and elected President of the Elgin Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Rachael’s goals are threefold: listen respectfully; speak honestly; and give the same effort that you expect in return.
