About Rachel
Rachel Chillas Pickens was coined The Oklahoma Land Lady during her work with land real estate and agriculture organizations. Rachels years of real estate and land auction experience combined with her network of contacts in the community and agriculture industry, has helped her channel buyers and sellers to join together for one purpose to sell and buy land!
Rachels background originates in agriculture. While being raised on a family farm, she knows the joys and discomforts of an agricultural lifestyle and thrives to help those in the industry.
Rachel proudly served as State FFA President and was awarded State Star Farmer while in high school. With a background fueled by agriculture, Rachel continued her education in Oklahoma where she enhanced her knowledge of farming and ranching. Rachel developed a love for her alma mater as she studied animal science and became a proud alumna of Oklahoma State University. While in college Rachel began her career, as the auction coordinator of Pickens Auctions, where she enhanced her passion for real estate and land auctions. While in this position, she marketed and sold over 30,000 acres, showcased premier properties and pristine ranches, and set record-high land values.
Like many of you, growing up in this amazing industry instills work ethic at a young age, Rachels passion for bettering the community has grown as her time in Oklahoma continued. She loves to give back to the community and uses her talents to assist in coordinating, marketing and conducting benefit auctions across the state for charity organizations. Rachel is involved in many organizations including the Oklahoma Cattlemens Association, the Diamond Hats Club, the National Cattlewomens Association, the Oklahoma AgriTourism Association and the National FFA Alumni. She is also on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors in Stillwater, Oklahoma and serves as an Ambassador for the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.
Rachel currently lives on a ranch and owns one of Oklahomas most popular agricultural venues., Rockin Star Farm, located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. This agritainment adventure educates the public, including thousands of school children, about the importance of agriculture and how it plays a role in our daily lives.
Rachel is a graduate of the Professional Ringmens Institute, a member of the Oklahoma Auctioneers Association, and is currently working on completing her Certified Auction Institute designation. With her strong farm and ranch background, Rachel looks forward to working with you and sharing her networks, resources and experience to get you the best outcome!
