Rachel Scott

I have been a resident of the Northern Neck for 15 years. I live in King George and enjoy spending time in Colonial Beach. I graduated from
Virginia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering and have lived here ever since, with my sweet husband and three rambunctious children. My oldest two children attend King George Elementary School, and my three year old keeps me on my toes. After moving to the area, I worked for many years at Dahlgren, supporting our Navy’s warfighters, before moving into real estate. I am active in my church, Grace Presbyterian Church, and have been heavily involved in the children’s ministry, serving as the nursery coordinator as well as a Sunday school teacher.

In addition to my service to my church, I also volunteer with the American Heritage Girls organization in Colonial Beach, helping to teach young girls essential life skills. In my free time, I love gardening, and I try my hand at all things edible. My strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and vegetable crops are always delicious! My family and I love to spend time together locally, and when we do get away, we love to relax at the beach.

My engineering background has given me a keen eye for detail, and has given me solid verbal and written communication skills. I have spent
significant time researching and familiarizing myself with the real estate market and trends in King George County, Colonial Beach, Fredericksburg, and surrounding areas. I have invested in real estate here in this area myself, and I have personal experience being both a buyer and a seller through real estate booms and busts. It is my desire to help clients benefit from the lessons I have learned, both good and bad, so that they have a positive experience buying, selling, and renting. Whether my client is looking to buy, sell or rent, my number one priority is my client.

My promise is that I will be honest and communicative as we work together. I am passionate about pairing my clients with the perfect home, investment, or buyer; and I will work hard to make that happen. I always strive to provide my clients with the best advice throughout their real estate transaction experience, and to make every transaction a positive experience for all parties involved.

I love helping people, and I love real estate. Being a real estate agent lets me do both at the same time!
