Rachel Turner

Rachel Turner is a passionate real estate practitioner dedicated to serving her community. Born and raised in the Tahoe basin, she's witnessed the Tahoe Truckee community evolve and takes great pride in sharing the true Tahoe she holds close to her heart. Educated and experienced in both luxury market sales and distressed market trends, Rachel positioned herself to serve all segments of the housing market. Licensed at 18 years old, Rachel's first sales project was Meridian Development's 80150 Northstar, A ultra luxe ski in ski out experience in the world renowned resort community of Lake Tahoe. Rachel saw the shift in the market in 2008 and quickly adapted her business model to service short sales and REOS, obtaining the CDPE designation (Certified Distressed Property Expert) along with NAR's Short Sale Resource designation and volunteering for the Making Home Affordable Program. In 2010, Rachel served as a founding committee member of the Asian Real Estate Association's Young Professionals Network, 'the EDGE. She also served as Secretary on the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals' Reno Chapter. She continues to volunteer her time to these organizations advocating for equal opportunity homeownership for minorities and sustainable home ownership. Rachel is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist receiving training from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Rachel is a member of AREAA, NAHREP, VNARP, NAGLREP, and AREAA Global. She was among the first 150 US delegates to obtain a certificate to sell real estate in Dubai. Rachel has represented developments in Dubai, Japan, Texas, Mexico, and of course, Lake Tahoe. Rachel recently obtained a certificate from Harvard Business School's Executive Education program. Rachel's passion is democratizing Real Estate investment for clients in all parts of the world. Rachel is an avid writer and sports enthusiast. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than enjoying good food and good music with friends and family along with heading outdoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of her homes in Tahoe, Los Angeles, and Austin TX.
