From cottages to castles, Raelene Sprague turns dreams into realities. Those aren’t just words; they’re Raelene’s philosophy. Raelene has enjoyed a 40-plus-year career in both corporate and residential real estate. She was responsible for investment trust acquisitions and syndications in the corporate sector before shifting to the residential realm, where she caters to first-time buyers and investors and handles corporate relocations and lifetime estates. Raelene’s initial encounter with the personal side of real estate was when she bought her first home while her husband was abroad — a home that she found, closed, and moved into before he even returned, just like the bona fide real estate agent she is. But no matter who Raelene tends to, her drive to deliver outstanding results has been apparent since the start of her career. She earned the Rookie of the Year award in her first year and, more recently, the Five Star Real Estate Agent award for 10 consecutive years. In 2021, she was ranked in the top 1.5% of California agents by The Wall Street Journal and RealTrends.
Raelene holds many industry designations, including as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), Master Certified Negotiations Expert (MCNE), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®). She also maintains various exchange and investment certifications.
A sixth-generation Californian born in Long Beach, Raelene relishes the history of this beautiful state and country. Her desire to help others in their real estate goals is rooted in her previously nomadic lifestyle. A self-described “military brat” who grew up to marry a professional athlete, Raelene lived all over the world, including Washington D.C., Japan, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, and was frequently thrust into new surroundings with new people. Her experiences armed her with the strength and ability to regard people’s diverse needs with empathy and compassion while doing what it takes to positively impact their lives and futures.
Raelene still has the travel bug but believes there’s no place like home. She loves gardening, hiking, playing tennis and bridge, cooking, and creating memorable experiences for her family and friends. She’s also passionate about volunteering with various nonprofit organizations, primarily through her support of Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (FSMA); she has been involved in their fundraising event, Concert for a Cure, since 2001.
