His expertise on mountain homes is amazing. All things relating to wells, access, property lines, title, taxes, etc. Always available for all of those little questions, a great sense of humor, and easy to talk to.

If you are looking for a trustworthy Real Estate Agent I highly recommend Ralph Wintersberger. Ralph meets you where you are at, he listens to what you have to say and he gets the job done. Ralph sold my Condo in 2 weeks. Ralph will give you his professional advice, which really helped me but at the same time, he does not push anything on you that you do not want to do. I really enjoyed working with Ralph, he is respectful and professional.

I chose the right realtor. Ralph sold an acre lot for me. He knew the market and gave me good advice. What most impressed me was that he cleared a path on my land so that prospective buyers could walk through the thick trees to see the top of the lot. I felt he went beyond what any other realtor would have done.

Since I was moving to Albuquerque from a distant and very different city and knew little about my intended new home, finding the right realtor was extremely important. I needed someone upon whom I could rely not only to know the real estate market and neighborhoods of this sprawling metropolis but also to know the issues of housing here, both the physical idiosyncrasies of housing here (flat roofs? adobe vs stucco? swamp coolers? orangeburg sewer pipes? canales?) as well as the socio/political issues of the city (mostly crime and safety concerns here, but also schools, parks, shopping). All of these subjects are very different here from the way they exist in the cities of the Northeast and Northern Midwest where I'd lived previously. And more than anything, since I would only be able to fly out to ABQ a few times to look at houses, I needed a realtor who was sufficiently insightful and personable that he or she would quickly learn who I was, what was important to me in choosing a house, a neighborhood, and a city so he could identify houses of interest without my presence. Ralph met and surpassed all these standards.
I studied the rosters of ABQ realtors online and read lots of recommendations, just as you're doing now. Ralph made the top of the list I drew up, because he'd lived here most of his life, he'd worked in construction and as an engineer, and he was married to an artist. These gave me a real sense of a person who knew the city and the state, who knew houses not just based on curb appeal but on their construction and subsequent maintenance, and who might even have a sense of aesthetic I could trust. Plus, he just looked nice. I drafted an email inquiry, prepared to send it to several realtors. Ralph answered so promptly and was so quick to pick up on so much of my personality I knew I'd struck gold. I never sent the email to anyone else, and I never once, all the way through closing regretted that decision.
I enjoyed my house hunting in ABQ a lot. I learned tons. The house I eventually bought was one Ralph found on his own after our first weekend of touring 30-some homes. He sent me a link and then went and visited it on his own, taking a video of the house as he walked through it. You know, all the houses look good in their online listings; those professional photographers know how to make a shanty seem a mansion! Ralph's handmade videos told a true story, and his close-ups of ugly pipes and cracks in the plaster showed me what you'd never see in the pro photos! Next, after I showed interest, he dug up all the data he could locate, old property records and prior inspections. I actually ended up putting an offer on the house before I ever saw it in person! While neither Ralph nor I recommend this as standard practice, with Ralph's able advising, that offer posed no great risk for me, being carefully crafted. When I flew out to see the property, I was understandably nervous, but when Ralph unlocked the front door, there it was: My house, even better in person than I'd dared dream.
I could not recommend Ralph Wintersberger more highly or be more confident I'm right to do so. He knows what he's doing and does it attentively, efficiently, and with a seemingly unshakeable equanimity. Moving and the business of buying and selling houses is really stressful, and I'm not a person who handles stress well. With Ralph's guidance though, I am happily in my new home. I really do feel I couldn't have done this without him.

Ralph was wonderful to work with. He handled my stressful moments with ease, was attentive and calm throughout the entire process and would be available 24/7 if I had any questions or concerns. He explained things in a way I could understand and made sure I was taken care of. Let us tell you about our experience with Ralph Wintersberger. It all started with an Internet search for realtors. We were living in Houston, TX, and looking to buy property in Albuquerque. We didn’t know anybody in the area so we began our search by looking at realtor profiles and reviewing their background information online. We knew we wanted to buy a home that we could update and put our own touches on. Based on the idea of buying property that we could remodel, we put together a lengthy email detailing what we wanted and what we were looking to do. Based on a review of profiles, we selected a few realtors to send the email to. Ralph’s profile immediately stood out from his contemporaries. His profile showed him to have a construction & renovation background, along with two engineering degrees. His background seemed particularly poignant considering what we were looking to do. We spoke to all the realtors we sent the email off to, however just as Ralph’s profile stood out to us, so too did our initial conversation. Ralph was polite, attentive, showed genuine interest in our goals for home buying and eagerly answered our questions with thoughtfulness and consideration. We knew right away that Ralph was our guy and felt confident that he would find us our home in Albuquerque. Ralph never let us down. From that phone call, Ralph went above and beyond at every conceivable turn. We had a limited window of time in Albuquerque to look at homes and Ralph was exceptionally prepared in providing a number of options that fit our criteria. Whenever we viewed a perspective home, and discussed pros and cons of the house, Ralph took note and made sure that every consecutive home brought us closer and closer to exactly what we were looking for. After we found our home, we had to go back to Houston and complete the entire buying process remotely. Throughout this process, Ralph stayed in close contact with us. He was at the home during the inspection, oversaw getting bids for needed repairs and even assisted with securing our financing. No problem was too big and every request was answered with all assurances that we could rely on him. There are not enough good things to say about Ralph. He is genuinely a great guy and a fantastic professional. No home is perfect, but if you want a home buying process that is as close to perfect as possible, you’ll choose Ralph Wintersberger.
