I am a graduate of Va Tech with a BS in Animal Science. My roots are here in Franklin County where I grew up on our family farm. My first job after college was with Fairfax County Dept of Public Works in the environmental field. Although I loved that career I wasn't fond of the city life so I made my way back home. I began my real estate career in 1986 working for well known developer, Ron Willard on Smith Mountain Lake. I LOVE real estate and being a full time Realtor. I have been very successful and attribute my success to really listening to my clients needs and offering my professional guidance from the beginning of a transaction to the closing table. My knowledge of this market area is invaluable to prospective buyers and sellers. Once I understand your needs I WILL find that perfect property for you.
My experience is broad encompassing new home construction and existing home resales, undeveloped land, developed lots, farms and lake front property on Smith Mountain Lake and Leesville Lake.

In 1992 I became the Broker for LakeFront Realty and went on to become Broker/Owner of my own company Simpson Realty until my husbands death when my life was turned upside down. Having gone through such a transition makes you appreciate life and the simple things. My life is full with the joy of our 2 children who are adults now and on their own. My love of the farm life led me to the adventure of breeding and showing llamas. I can say llamas are my passion!
