About Rebecca

Even as a young girl, dragging her parents to every airshow in California and Nevada, Rebecca has always harnessed a drive within her to pursue her passions. Whether all things aerospace (she earned a full Air Force scholarship to Cal) or learning how to surf, once Rebecca focus on a goal, that is all she can think about! For decades now, that passion and focus have been real estate.

Introduced to this business in 1988 by her father-in-law (he was an active broker well into his nineties), Rebecca offers her clients the benefit of more than 30 years of professional experience and personal knowledge of the Bay Area’s real estate landscape. She was born and raised in the East Bay and is now raising her children here. She’s intimately familiar with local neighborhoods, microclimates, schools, and market trends.

Being present for a successful transition in her clients’ lives truly brings her joy. Older clients hold a special place in her heart; having lived with her grandparents growing up, she developed a sensitivity to their needs and priorities that makes working with seniors especially rewarding. A fierce negotiator, she works equally well with buyers and sellers.

For all her clients, she offers solid strategy, comprehensive oversight, and attention to detail. At the heart of her practice, Rebecca is an educator. She is passionate about teaching, especially first-time home buyers, the process of being successful in buying a home. Easily able to tune into her client's wishes and worries, she responds by preemptively handling their concerns with grace. Her commitment to protecting them and advocating for them with skill and finesse is made sweeter when they also become dear friends!

She’s learned that in real estate, good chemistry, kindness, and a sense of humor go a long way. She serves on the Board of Directors for our local association and is a Traveling Director for the California Association of Realtors. She serves on three CAR committees as well: Professional Standards (ethics), Professional Development, and Global Real Estate. She has been trained in Mediation by the Pepperdine Law School program for Realtors. She serves as an Ombudsman for our Association and for the CAR. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she is delivering groceries to those sheltering in place. In her off hours, she’s an avid gardener and a quilter. She is loyal, organized, and respectful.
