About Reid

Reid Buckley was the co-founder, with her husband Charlie, of the Mr. Waterfront real estate business in 1994. Reid, a third-generation real estate professional, was born in Washington, DC and spent weekends sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. She graduated from Brown University and earned her MBA degree from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. After business school, Reid marketed financial products for several nationwide companies before joining Mr. Waterfront.

The Buckley Waterfront Homes tradition was started in 1994 when Charlie Buckley’s passion for the waterfront lifestyle sparked an extraordinary vision. He and Reid founded the Mr. Waterfront Team, pioneering the concept of a singularly focused and highly specialized real estate team. In 2020, Reid’s daughter, Meagan, joined the Mr. Waterfront Team and has been an invaluable partner ever since.

Reid’s extensive market knowledge combined with her business acumen allows Reid’s clients to receive excellent guidance from the initial meeting and throughout the sales process. In addition, Reid has experience as a licensed general contractor building and renovating waterfront homes, as well as a licensed real estate appraiser specializing in waterfront property – both skills which further the value proposition for clients of Buckley Waterfront Homes. After earning her degree from New York University, Meagan honed her marketing and public relations skills at Loro Piana, an Italian luxury clothing and interiors brand, in New York City. Her experience at the intersection of luxury brands and marketing laid the foundation for her transition into real estate. Meagan’s passion for design and her keen eye for space allow her to assist clients in visualizing how a home can function and evolve into a perfect living environment.

Today, mother and daughter proudly carry Charlie’s torch, blending his legacy with cutting-edge branding and innovation as Buckley Waterfront Homes.
