Renee understands how emotional buying, selling and moving can be, “I have moved several times in my lifetime (over 27 times) in three different states, so I know how it feels to move to a new home and even a new city.”
Having lived in Sterling since 1996, the Selvidge’s raised their two children here. They love this area and what it offers in so many aspects of their lives, their children’s lives and now grandchildren’s lives. Renee loves spending time with my family, enjoys playing with her dogs, camping, kayaking, hiking and scrapbooking.
While it is important for her to know her community, it is even more important that she knows and understands what a client wants. Renee has consistently earned a reputation among her clients and colleagues as a compassionate professional with a win-win negotiating style who insists the logistical, emotional and financial hurdles of real estate be made easy as possible for her clients.
Renee is proud to have been associated with many community events including Sugar Beet Days, Christmas parade, Better Business Bureau (for 20 years), Logan County Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Logan County Fair.
To help ease the stress on her clients, Renee is continually taking real estate courses to keep up to date on the most current rules/updates and proven ideas to better serve her clients.
Renee has served on the Logan County Board of Realtors 2 times, won Best Realtor of the Year 3 times - the only Realtor since she has been a realtor that has won it without being the President of the Board.
Additionally, Renee has served on a multitude of committees on the Board of Realtors, Chairman “Christmas Party Committee,” “Helping Hands”, “CAR Director (Colorado Association of Realtors)”, “Chairman MLS Committee,” “Chairman Adopt a Family for Christmas.” “Finance Committee.” And “Step Out for Kids.”
Renee has earned her Accredited Buyer´s Representative (ABR), is a Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI), a Certified Residential Specialists (CRS), and is a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
