About Rich

Carr Real Estate Group I've been the owner/operator of Carr Real Estate Group since 2017 while actively managing Carr's Contracting & Services. Utilizing the plumbing & electrical trades over the past 16 years is what sets me apart from other real estate agents, along with understanding the Capital Region real estate market.

I know what to look for when it comes to those large expensive items in a home such as your home's roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, foundation, Decks, and NYS building code regulations, etc. I'm able to competently answer any question or a concern a customer may have while walking through a home of interest. At a very young age, I became involved in real estate by working summers with my uncle rehabbing multi-family properties.

I spent my summers learning a lot about the inner workings of all types of properties. As the years have gone by, I began to get more involved in buying multi-family properties of my own. I took an interest in homes that were foreclosures or bank-owned, rehabbing them myself and turning them into investment properties. In June 2005, I became a licensed real estate agent.

I've spent the last 15 years buying and selling properties throughout the Capital Region. Finally, in 2017, I created my own brokerage firm, Carr Real Estate Group Llc. To further educate myself and add to my passion for real estate, Over the course of 15 years, I worked to meet the requirements needed to receive a master electrician license and a master plumber license both licenses received in 2013. I used these trades daily doing work through my sister company, Carr's Contracting & Services.

So happy with my decision to go with Rich. From initial sign up to closing, everything went smoothly. Still can’t get over how well Rich was able to predict some things, which definitely shows an understanding of the market that other agents simply do not possess. I also moved across state before house closed, and Rich would always take care of whatever I needed locally. Can’t recommend him enough.

He made the whole process feel so easy! He is very responsive to any question we had and is extremely knowledgeable about the buying process itself. He made great recommendations and without him we would not have been able to close on our house in just about a month. He is able to look at a house and honestly tell us if they are priced reasonably and if the house is well-maintained and in a good condition. He has a great working relationship with his clients and we trusted him 100%! If we ever were to buy or sell a house again we would definitely use his services again.
