Andrian B - Yelp Richard is sooo good! He understands everything AND negotiates really well. I didn't have to worry about anything too much personally. I had sold and bought homes before, so I knew a little by now, so I had less questions. But from those past experiences I could also see that he has tremendous expertise and skill. Because there's more than just expertise of being a Realtor, there is skill, which differentiates one expert Realtor from another, and he has it. He's just so easy to work with and very good at it. He really helps you make the right decisions. There are tricky things that come up amongst the offers and that wise guidance was essential for me... Highly recommend!

Ben N - Yelp Having rented for the past seven years, I felt it was the right time to look for a home. I spent a lot of time researching online about the home buying process, but often felt overwhelmed. I found Richard through yelp and was impressed by several of the positive anecdotal reviews, particularly ones from first-time homebuyers. During our first phone chat, we discussed his background as well as my rough timeline and home criteria. I was pleased to know that he is from Glendale and knows the LA area very well. He answered any questions I had, and we scheduled a first meeting the same week at a potential property. During home tours, he pointed out flags that many non-experienced homebuyers would miss such as staining on ceilings/vanities due to water leaks or likely noise due to single-pane windows. I found it very helpful to send my list of potential properties to get his input before checking them out. There were sometimes deal breakers that I didn't even know were deal breakers. For instance, for one property I sent him, he responded looks nice, it does sit close to the high power lines that run through Burbank, some people care about this, others don't. I had to google exactly the risks involved with the high power line, which seems to be a controversial debate, but I'm very glad to have been given a heads up to make an informed decision. During the summer, my car needed to go to a shop for repairs. When Richard found out, he offered to give me a ride to look at properties. Apparently, that was more common a few years ago before carpooling services, but now rarely happens. I really valued his willingness to go the extra mile (literally), and it gave me more opportunities to ask him questions. I ended up going to many open houses over the summer with Richard as I was very picky about my future home. I sincerely appreciated that he was patient with me every step of the way. The overall offer/escrow process went smoothly with one minor hiccup where the seller agents, most likely inexperienced, misunderstood the terms of the contract. Richard quickly and firmly resolved the issue, and everything went according to plan. This is where having an experienced agent, like Richard, who will fight for the buyer's interest, whether at the open house or during escrow, really makes a difference. Thanks Richard!
