I have bought and sold many houses in my life and Sid was the best agent I’ve ever worked with. We chose him to sell my moms house. This particular transaction was more complicated because mom was out of state for closing. Sid made it the easiest transaction ever and I was glad to use someone I trust. Clear and timely communication, great market analysis, and resources to solve problems (clearing out leftover stuff).

Sid represented my husband and I in both our recent home purchase and recent home sale—he is exactly the guy you want in either or both situations. We trusted his opinion and his expertise implicitly.

On the buying side, his expertise was invaluable—it was like having our own inspector with us on each house we visited. He’d notice the things we wouldn’t—as it relates to the structure of the home, whether things were to code, etc. In this market when time was of the essence, he was seemingly ALWAYS available to us, working tirelessly and quickly to maximize our opportunities and ensure we presented strong and attractive offers.

On the selling end, Sid worked diligently behind the scenes to get us an amazing offer well above list and brought in a talented photographer to really showcase the charm of our home.

Through the process on BOTH ends, we were thrown some incredibly unusual and stressful curveballs, and Sid was able to skillfully manage moments of high-stress with a calm, patient, solutions-oriented approach. And hey-- we also had some moments of fun along the way!

In sum, during what netted out to be a 2 year process, Sid always went above and beyond for us. He raises the bar HIGH for what can be considered exceptional customer service. And, at the end of the day, he’s just a great overall human too. I recommend him without hesitation.

Sid is AMAZING! My husband and I recently bought a house and were first time homebuyers, so very new to the home buying process. We were buying in Maryland and living in Arizona at the time, which added even more stress to our search.

Sid sensed our urgency and immediately set aside time to show me all the homes I was interested in in the single day I had flown to Maryland.

But what makes Sid the best? He walked through each house with me with a fine toothed comb and pointed out low quality repairs, minor issues, and even major issues in some cases. He takes the time to ensure you aren’t buying a problem!!

Sid talked to us everyday and gave us updates on where things stood in the process so we didn’t feel like we were going into closing with a ton of questions to bring to the table.

Before I even talk about Sid Polish, I like to point out a couple challenges Sid had to conquer while working with me. I was a first time home buyer and very inexperienced about real estate. Only knowledge I knew was from reading books about the process of home buying. On top of that, I had the most unrealistic high expectations of what I wanted in a first house, for the location I wanted to live. I changed my mind about the criteria for my house multiple times on Sid and was very indecisive. I must have saw 20+ houses in different parts of Maryland with Sid before finding the right one. Despite all of these challenges, Sid was an awesome realtor. You won’t find anyone like him selling real estate in Maryland. He is a very knowledgeable realtor and will educate you if you have any questions and/or give you suggestions if you’re unsure about something. He showed professionalism throughout the whole home buying process. He kept his composure and tolerated me being indecisive of my house criteria and location. In fact, he gave me time to make my own decisions and never pressured me into any house. Sid goes the extra mile and will point out any flaws in a home and also the potential each home you view. If you use Sid Polish as your realtor, you will find your first or new home.

I was a first time homebuyer and had no clue what I was doing. A friend from work had bought a home through Mr. Polish and recommend him because he said that Mr Polish made their process hassle free. I’m so glad I listened, I had so many questions (like a toddler) and hurdles I had to jump through with my lender and he was able to speak with me on a level I understood, and helped me figure out things I didn’t even know I needed to think about. I’m so pleased with the out come and couldn’t imagine if I had used someone else how difficult it could have been.
