Rick and his wife play an active role in their community as the Directors of Royal Family Kids’ Camp of Concord. Royal Family Kids’ Camp is a one-week summer camp for abused, abandoned, and neglected children within the community. Since 2001, Royal Family Kids' Camp of Concord has taken hundreds of local foster children to camp. This camp is designed to build positive memories in the lives of these hurting children. While at camp, these children are treated like royalty, they are continually encouraged and lifted, spoken kindly to, and they know by the end of the week that they are genuinely cared for! Campers also receive new shirts, new shoes, new backpacks, new CDs, and a photo album overflowing with positive camp memories. The Ricks are committed to making a difference in the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected children within their community.
