Rita Bender

Rita started her Real Estate career in 1985 and since then has been recognized as one of the top agents in the US by the International President’s Elite Club. Rita has also received both the Distinguished Service Award & Community Service Award by the Long Island Board of Realtors. Rita served on the Board of Directors for The Huntington Chapter of LIBOR for 10 years. As the Leader of Team Bender, she works to provide only the top level of service to all of their clients & customers.

Rita is also very involved in the local community as a member of a number of charities and organizations. Rita was the Founding President of Suburban League for The City of Hope and was the recipient of the Galter Award as the most successful chapter in the U.S.

Rita later served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Long Island coalition overseeing fund raising for Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and NYC chapters of the City of Hope. Rita presently sits on the Board of Directors for Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition, House Beautiful Civic Association and Huntington Arts Council.

Rita is a long-time resident of Dix Hills and in 2011 was honored by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce for People Who Make Huntington A Better Place to Live.
