River Collins, the Broker, and Owner of 4 Rivers Realty, Inc., has maintained a successful career in real estate for the past 24 years.

River feels that honesty, respect, trust, and service are of the utmost importance in her business. Before entering the real estate field, she already had experience in sales, business, and banking. She thrives on the many challenges of real estate transactions. Using her analytic and negotiation skills she has been able to cultivate great deals for her clients. Some clients have been first-time homebuyers, sellers who wished to “right-size” in retirement, luxury homeowners, investors, or property owners who faced difficult circumstances. She prides herself in building client relationships through ethical, forthright, and supportive communications, and through RESULTS.

River was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although she left the area to pursue her education—attending a HBCU in Texas for University, and to travel domestically and abroad, she eventually returned to the Bay to start a family. She has always loved what the Bay Area has to offer. River says, "I am a mother and a businesswoman in this culturally rich, diverse little community we call 'The Bay Area’.”

A unique aspect of her business is the expansive areas that she is covered. Within her first couple of years in the business, she worked with investors who looked for specific types of real estate. This type of work took her all over. She developed strategies and habits of in-depth research and analysis of properties in all areas. This, in turn, opened her business to clients all around the Bay and surrounding areas.

River has worked with clients as far south as Santa Cruz, Gilroy and Hollister; as far North as Fort Bragg; as far East as the Sacramento Area and the Sonora Foot Hills; and everywhere in between: San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland, Oakland Hills, Castro Valley, Pleasanton, Livermore, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Albany, Berkeley, San Jose, Fremont… River has found that “it doesn’t take an ‘area specialist’ to get the job done but rather a real estate specialist.”
