About Robert
Bio for Bob Anderson
A native of Eastern Washington I came to make Colville, Washington my home in 2001 after spending 25 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. During my career with the Coast Guard I completed a BA in Business from Columbia College. The fall of 2001 I entered the Real Estate world which has been very enjoyable for me. Early on I was involved in local and state associations and served as a state director for 6 years, president of the local association for 1 year, and was named Realtor of the Year in 2004. In 2006 I completed the requirements to become a Managing Broker in Washington and in 2010 in Idaho. From 2006 to 2014 I worked primarily on Industrial Forests with Forest Capital Partners and Hancock Natural Resource Group where I identified HBU “higher and better use” parcels and worked on value added projects developing large tracts. During this period I sold 1 acre to 3,900 acre parcels to several local tribes, gov’t agencies, and private parties totalling approximately 50,000 acres. Primary area of responsibility was NE Washington.
Community involvement is a high priority to me and I currently serve on Colville Community Senior Center Board. Past service includes Habitat for Humanity Board, Colville School Board, and NE Washington Association of Realtors as President and State Director.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family on the Pend Oreille River. We enjoy skiing, tubing, knee boarding, fishing, hiking, golfing, and just relaxing. Kelly and I have been married for 33 years and have three great children, Jacqui, Katelyn, and Tom. In the past few years we have added a son in law Bryan and two beautiful grandsons Mason and Henry. We also have two loyal dogs Zoe and Maggie who also enjoy the river.
