These are his core values, working for his clients to serve their needs and represent their interests to the best of his ability. Robert has teamed up with his wife Jeanne, an associated licensed broker with Douglas Elliman, Westhampton Beach since 1996. Together they are bringing their knowledge of the Hamptons and love of service to the community and their clients.
Robert grew up in Bayside, NY and summered in Hampton Bays since 1962 until moving there permanently in 1979. He attended Dowling College in Oakdale, NY and received a bachelor’s in business administration while also completing his private and commercial pilot licenses and instrument rating.
In 1979, Robert joined the 106th Rescue Wing, New York Air National Guard, in Westhampton Beach and served as a HH-3E combat rescue helicopter pilot, HC-130 combat fixed-wing pilot, flying Squadron Commander, Operations Group Commander, Logistics Group Commander, Maintenance Group Commander and completed his career as the Vice Wing Commander. He is a combat decorated veteran and served as both a pilot and commander during overseas contingencies. Robert has been credited with saving numerous lives as a pilot, led many successful life-saving missions as a commander, and was instrumental with developing Space Shuttle contingency rescue procedures and developing numerous national/NATO/New York State programs. He received numerous awards to include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and Air Medal. Robert retired from the military as a colonel after 32+ years of service. Upon retirement, he was honored by the wing and the Air Force, and his name was placed on the HH-3E helicopter that stands at the base entrance.
Robert is an active member with the Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and St Rosalie’s Holy Name Society.
Robert’s interests include golf, fishing, and water sports.
His wife Jeanne and he have been blessed with two children, Brittney, and Christopher.
