About Roberta

When becoming licensed in 1989, Roberta became affiliated with her family-owned real estate company at Deep Creek Lake, MD, Lakeside Realty. Roberta began her career selling lots in a residential neighborhood in Washington County, Maryland. This community was developed by Roberta's father, Colonel Robert Railey, Broker/owner of Lakeside Realty. After selling out this community, Roberta purchased ownership of a local real estate franchise, and in 1994 she studied and received her Broker's license. To benefit her growing real estate business, Roberta joined the RE/MAX family in 2000 to have at her hands the advanced technology RE/MAX offers. Since then, she has earned the Historical Properties and Certified Distressed Properties designation. This training, experience, and knowledge have benefitted Roberta's clients so that she can best represent them by being an expert at selling historic properties in downtown Frederick. Although Roberta lives in and knows downtown home ownership well, she works throughout Maryland, representing buyers and sellers of all facets of residential real estate. Over the past 30+ years selling real estate, Roberta is a past director of the Frederick County Association of Realtors previous member of the grievance committee of the Frederick County Association of Realtors. Community involvement includes West Frederick Middle School PTA VP and director of the Friends of Baker Park. Roberta's accomplishments have earned her the 100% club award numerous times, the RE/MAX Platinum team award, the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award, and the Charles S.V. Sanner award for high ethics and professional standards. Roberta is wife to John McNamara and mom to Dustin (40), Krista (38), and Sean( 16), and Mimi to 5 grandchildren.
