Robin's family moved to Charlotte in 2011 after relocating with her family five times over a decade throughout the Southeast. Robin gained a passion for real estate from her own experiences with buying and selling five homes and wanted to become dedicated to creating seamless transitions for others, as she and her family had done so many times. Robin got her NC & SC broker licenses after settling into Charlotte and joined Helen Adams Realty in 2012. She fully enjoys working with her clients while leveraging her professional and personal experiences.
Robin has accumulated over 18 years of experience working in sales and marketing since graduating from Clemson University. Robin worked for NCR Corporation as an eCommerce Sales Specialist and helped financial institutions across the United States implement internet banking systems. The relationships that Robin built with her banking clients led to her promotion as the Marketing Events Manager in which she oversaw the planning of all client events and tradeshows in the Americas for NCR's Worldwide Customer Service Group.
Robin left her corporate job in 2006 to have her first child and her family moved to Gainesville, Florida. While living in Florida, Robin started an event planning company which had a philanthropy focused on helping underprivileged children & victims of domestic violence. Robin sold the business in 2009 to focus on her growing family and another planned relocation but the entrepreneurial aspect of successfully managing her own business resonated with her and eventually pushed Robin to start a career in real estate.
