Rod’s journey began when his family relocated from the Bay Area to Arnold, CA, when he was just two years old. Growing up surrounded by towering pines, pristine lakes, and endless trails left an indelible mark on him, fostering a deep love for the outdoors and a lifelong connection to the mountains.
After earning a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Rod ventured abroad to Europe, where he spent nearly a decade working with international technology companies in Hamburg, Germany, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. His time overseas gave him a unique perspective on life and deepened his appreciation for the sense of community and onatural beauty that Calaveras County offers.
In 2015, the mountains called him home, and Rod returned to Arnold to plant roots and launch his real estate career full-time.
