Derek was friendly, engaging and eager to help us find a home that would meet our needs and fit our budget. He struck us as authentically interested in helping us, rather than just interested in making a sale. He also seemed knowledgeable about the local market and housing challenges. We made a bid on two houses with Derek. The first house ended up having too many structural and safety issues. Instead of trying to push the sale through, Derek talked with us honestly about the issues and made it easier for us to back out of the contract, which was a good thing. He patiently set up many showings for us until we found just what we wanted. He then handled the contract well in a way that made us comfortable and satisfied with the purchase. Well when we began looking we weren't sure where to begin we had seen a lot of houses on the Reece an Nichols App. He advised us to drive around the neighborhoods of potential houses to be sure we would want to live there. Derek was able to give us an idea of things that might need to be updated on houses we looked at and how much of an expense they might be so as not to walk into a deal blind. This was important as I was a first time home buyer and if there was one thing I did not want it was to buy a nightmare house. All in all we feel like we bought the best possible house for our money and are still happy with it. Derek Davis was very prompt with handling all our paperwork and recommended an inspector who was quite exceptional. Derek Davis was awesome. Thanks Derek Davis for making this process fun and easy! Nadine was always professional and helpful. She answered my many questions with a great attitude and always made me feel she knew her product and how to best present it for a quick sale. Nadine kept me up to date on number of people viewing the house and the comments they made as well as the comments from the other agents showing the house. She was always available to help - papers had to be emailed to my sister out of town and she always got them to her and explained what needed to be done. I would definitely recommend Nadine Fothergill to other friends and family.
