Went to an Open House and met Coldwell Banker realtor Ron Pickett and Emortgage lender Brian Brown (Both military Veterans). We loved the home and after speaking with Ron and Brian we felt even more comfortable with making a decision to place a bid. We moved forward with the purchase using our own realtor Michelle Trail (Berkeshire Hathaway). The process was quick and smooth. Ron was very responsive and worked great with our realtor, Michelle. I used my VA loan and chose Brian to do my VA financing. Brian did not let us down with obtaining financing for this quick deal. We met him at one of his previous open houses and he put us on his buyer priority list and always sent us all of his new listings as soon as possible.

We closed on our new home smoothly and on time and Ron went the extra mile to make sure that all the repairs were taking care of, even adding a closet himself to a room that had none at his own cost. Once we closed escrow, Ron was able to quickly find a tenant to lease the property to a highly qualified tenant at the exact price we agreed upon.

I chose Ron Pickett partly because he sold the home directly across the street twice in just 4 months, each time in just a few days, for way above asking price each time. Once we spoke, I felt he was going to be the best agent.

Ron really went the extra mile for me in so many ways. He paid for maids, window washers and a junk hauling service to clear the garage of unnecessary items, which took several trips. He spent several days working with me at my home. The painters and contractors he recommended repaired and repainted the home and helped to stage it so we could sell for the highest price.

Ron was very hands-on, replacing lights, removing furniture, cleaning, organizing and working with the stager to accent the home and making strong recommendations on what we needed to do to sell the home in a very competitive market. He stopped me from spending money to update / repair things and that made me a bit nervous, but in the end he was exactly right. He always did this with a smile and a can do attitude and we sold our home in record time. His marketing really made my head spin. The photos and video quality were absolutely incredible. More than impressed with Ron Pickett’s work ethic, professionalism and knowledge. As first time home buyers, he did the best in explaining every step of the way. We gave him a list of the top 3 homes on a Monday and that very Friday of the same week, he was ready to show us those homes. The second house we saw was THE ONE! Ron is a neighbor 2 times over now and we couldn't be happier. We bought a house in the neighborhood where we have been living for 10 years. We found a house that Ron was the broker for and even though we didn't get that house, Ron stayed with us, learning what we wanted and did a ton of research to help us know more about what was available and what his plan was to find a good fit. And he did! He also wrote a back-up offer that the seller accepted and it turned out the first buyer backed out and we were in! That was the best advice you could get from a realtor. And a lot more work for him. Then he referred us to a loan broker and a home insurance agent that were equally as professional, responsive and dedicated as Ron. Ron went beyond the call of duty as a realtor, getting under my sink to find out why the disposal wasn't working, getting new handles for my screen door, returning a Cox modem for me, and dismantling a huge built-in desk, among other things. Let's be real, everyone knows a real estate agent, probably 2 or 3. Most charge the same commission.

There is a huge difference between the average agent (selling 4-5 properties a year) and the top 5% of agents selling well above list price.

The difference becomes world of mouth versus word of mouth. Getting your property in front of thousands not just hundreds of potential buyers.

Ron was recommended to me by my lender. I was told that he had a close rate of less than 2 weeks. Well I took that with a grain of salt. But after meeting with him and talking to him I knew he would be knowledgeable and gave him a try. After meeting and agreeing on a contract he offered me some tips on how to sell my home quickly. Ron recommended some changes and to give my home a fresh look and face lift that didn't cost thousands of dollars. I followed his ideas and recommendations. We went on the market on a Friday. And on Saturday we had 25 couples walk in and on a rainy day Sunday had 30 couples walk in! By Monday and Tuesday we had about 8-9 offers and by Wednesday we accepted 1 with 2 backups! A total of 5 days on the market!!! Offer was 30k over asking price! He recommended an escrow company and it was smooth sailing. I couldn't be happier! Ron definitely knows what he's doing, he's always attentive, always returns my calls and was with me throughout the selling process explaining in detail some of the questions I had. I'll be using him for my next home purchase!
