A Texas native and graduate of Texas A&M University, Russ Ethridge is a devoted resident who is lucky enough to work in a place he loves. While he spent a significant amount of time in California in the past, his home state's allure eventually became too hard to resist. He moved back to Texas in 2010 and hasn't looked back since. Diverse people, lifestyles, and culture are what keeps Russ anchored to the community.
As someone who has made several monumental moves in his life, Russ understands the challenges of transitioning from one home to another. His ability to empathize and relate is part of what makes him such a great Realtor®. Before becoming the professional “Answer Man,” as his clients like to call him, Russ spent 25 years in sales and business development. His time as a real estate investor, developer, landlord, and all-around successful entrepreneur provided him with varied perspectives on homeownership, which helped him to build his skill set as a Realtor®.
Priding himself on a “listen, then act,” policy, his client base has come to expect a top-tier, white-glove service they’re unlikely to find with other agents. One of his most significant abilities is utilizing his finely-honed interpersonal skills and business experience to put his clients at ease and remove emotion from tricky negotiations. Russ caters to the greater Austin area. His client base trends toward people in a transitional stage in their lives those who are relocating, changing family dynamics, or planning a second home.
Given his dedication to his company, it often seems like he has little time for himself. When he does find a free moment, he keeps busy with volunteering. He frequently lends a helping hand to associations like the Austin Smiles, Church Under the Bridge, Cub Scouts, and club soccer, as well as regularly attends and volunteers at Austin Christian Fellowship.
As a devoted father, Russ enjoys raising three beautiful children: Brock, Sophie, and Hank. He prides himself on being a dedicated family man who encourages and supports his kids through their various endeavors.
