About Ruth
As a local real estate entrepreneur, artist, and homeowner, Ruthie brings a sophisticated understanding of the Pioneer Valley and a joyful, and patient approach to her client’s home search and selling experience.
After graduating from Barnard College, Columbia University, she lived in Israel, where she was the recipient of a Dorot Fellowship, to study Hebrew, Jewish studies, and Talmud. Upon returning to the US, she moved to Northampton, MA, where she has blissfully lived since. Ruthie earned her MBA from the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and founded a real estate investment company in 2018 called Happy Valley Rentals, LLC. As a realtor, she focuses on listening and understanding her client’s needs. She brings her expert negotiation skills (She won the negotiation prize in my MBA program), and a joyful spirit to her transactions, working to ensure a low-stress experience with maximum return for my clients.
In addition to her love of Western Massachusetts, and real estate, she also is a professional watercolor artist (Ruthie Oland-Stuckey Watercolors), a board member of Congregation B’nei Israel in Northampton, and an active volunteer for the Movement Voter Project. She lives just outside of Northampton, MA with her husband, Dave, son, Aviv, and baby, Liora.
