Ryan Oliversen is a rare gem. He is keenly personable, professionally competent, well-informed, helpful, and kind. He quickly zoomed in on my personal living preferences and needs by showing me at the outset a couple of contrasting properties and then listening closely to my reactions. He presented pertinent questions to me and detailed the pros and cons of locations I viewed. This saved a lot of time and prevented me from losing the condo of my choice to other potential bidders close “in the wings”.

Part of his service as an agent is making sure you have no insurmountable glitches. He saved me a plumbing charge by repairing a defect in a pipe using his grandfather’s tried and true method with his own hands. He offers to direct owners to reputable service providers in town when a need arises. When he realized that I would be away during the harsh winter months, he offered to check by to make sure my furnace was functioning and that there were no water emergencies. Ryan reliably follows through and communicates any result.

I greatly appreciated his anticipating that I might not have at hand the closing document I would need to present to my tax preparer, because I didn’t; I’d left it in my file there rather than including it to take South for the winter. Ryan mailed it unsolicited by me early on.

Ryan communicates that he cares about his clients’ satisfaction and well being. He soon began to feel like a friend beyond being a highly desirable real estate agent.

My husband and I worked with Ryan Oliversen at Bunbury Realty, and I must say Ryan worked so hard to get us into our home. He went above and beyond what I expected, and we are now in the perfect home for us! Ryan was always right there when we needed him, whether it was for direction to a lender, the state of the properties we were looking for, or questions in general. We were moving from GA to WI and were unable to view the homes firsthand. This is an incredibly difficult position for both the agent and buyer, but Ryan made it all possible. He was willing to take video walk throughs of the properties we requested, and gave us candid assessments of the properties. I appreciate all Ryan did for us, and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

Ryan went above and beyond the role of a realtor in helping us sell our fathers house. Ryan took the time to assist with tasks that the homeowner would usually do but since I live in Connecticut he was gracious in helping out with extra work to make the house presentable and to help with the usual closing tasks a homeowner has to do when leaving the property. Ryan showed great knowledge of the local market, financial requirements and walked us through the closing process in Wisconsin which is different than in Connecticut. I would recommend Ryan to anyone wanting to buy or sell a house in the Madison area.

Ryan is the complete package in real-estate. His recommendations on pricing, choice on photographer and advice on modest staging adjustments was like having a realtor, marketing agency & several contractors in our corner.

We contracted a roofer months before listing. When that roofer was unable to meet the deadline before pictures/listing Ryan used his connections to locate a quality company to install a solid roof under budget & on time....all within weeks.

Ryan's guidance helped us secure almost a dozen bids and find the the best buyer possible. He handled all the complicated paperwork and our closing was extremely smooth.

If you need a buyer’s agent in the Madison area, we HIGHLY recommend Ryan!

My wife and I met Ryan by random chance while touring an open house he was hosting. We met him again during another open house by chance and we were very impressed with his inviting and down-to-earth personality. He is a professional first and foremost, but is also a true Wisconsinite (Go Pack Go!) and we got along with him very well from the get-go.

We began working with him as our buyer’s agent while we searched for homes in the area. Our search area was quite wide but he knew a good deal about each town/village we were interested in. He explained the entirety of the home buying process very proficiently, answered all of our questions very promptly and kept in constant contact with us to ensure we had the most up-to-date listings and resources.

Once we found a home, he handled much of the process (our home was FSBO, so this included showings, conversations with us about pricing and FMV, negotiations with the seller, handling many of the details of the closing aspects of the process, etc.) and was sure to make any deadlines for us very clear.

He was present during our walk throughs, inspection and at closing and was incredibly responsive. He always made time for our questions and concerns. We’re so pleased that we had him as our partner during the home buying process, as things could not have been any smoother or easier.

Again, we can not recommend Ryan enough if you need someone to assist you in the home buying process. Thank you so much for helping us find our home Ryan!

Ryan did an amazing job selling our home. This wasn’t our first time selling a home so we had high expectations for anyone who would represent us. My wife and I had already committed to moving to another state and were in a situation where Ryan was going to have to take on a lot. He didn’t fail to impress.
