Ryan and his team are fantastic! I can't recommend them enough - Ryan was so helpful in assisting us with finding a new home. We moved to Iowa from out of state, and the entire process couldn't have been easier. He listened to our requests, and set up 2 days of home tours while we were visiting (hoping to find a house). Ryan is very detailed and organized and is very good at what he does. He didn't try to push us towards a certain house, and was even able to assist with our inspection since we weren't here for it (he set up a video call so we could follow along as well). He also provided a virtual tour of one of the houses we loved (which we ended up buying!). He is a great communicator, we never felt as if he was too busy with other clients and he helped answer all of our questions, even the dumb ones. Lol!

Ryan is Awesome! Red carpet, or solid GOLD carpet all the way. After coming from Phoenix, where we had a lot of bad service experiences, Ryan was such a breath of fresh air. Indeed, Ryan was on top of everything. He personally went out to properties and did facetime with us, as we viewed properties alongside since we were still in Phoenix.

Moreover, he is also extremely knowledgeable. He knew almost as much as inspectors do, and was quick to point things out to us. Also the process was totally seamless, and his staff was great to work with. Furthermore, he was very quick to return our calls and texts. He even let me speak with some of his personal staff to get questions answered about titling and tax questions. He went way above and beyond.

Lastly, he was so patient with us. We started out wanting to live in a Beaverdale Brick, and then changed our preferences several times, before landing in NW Urbandale, which we absolutely love.

So do yourself a favor and use Ryan as your realtor. He is the best of the best, and you won't regret it.

Selling a home for the first time was hectic, exciting and overwhelming but from the very beginning with our first consultation with Ryan at DSM SOLD we felt at ease. Working with Ryan Rohlf from the very beginning was great. I was a first-time home buyer and did not know where to start. We connected through Zillow when a listing he was representing caught my eye. At that time, I did not have a realtor or a lender. Later that week we met through zoom and he explained to me the entire buying process. He guided me through the process of apply for a mortgage loan and connected me to the correct outlets to do so. Once I got approved, we started viewing homes I was interested in. Ryan did a great job of listening to my wants for a home and finding great listings that fit my criteria. After viewing a ton of homes, I thought I found the one and was ready to put in an offer. I decided the home I thought was the one was not. When I told Ryan, I wanted to pull my offer he was more than understanding. The next day we set up multiple showings including ones that I have already viewed. He was more than patient with me and wanted to make sure I was happy with whatever home I chose. I finally found the home I wanted to make an offer on. After that Ryan talked me through the inspection process in more detail and recommended Stan Hurst who was also a pleasant to work with. When the inspection came back a couple things came up. A few being the shingles were old, the ac unit was past the life expectancy, and the radon level was almost at 4.0. Ryan recommended solutions for those problems to make the deal worth it. Along the way Ryan was always available to answer all questions I had. I would not have been able to purchase my first home without his guidance. I have been closed on my home for about 4 weeks now, and he is still available if I have any concerns. He alleviated a lot of stress through the buying process. I will continue to use Ryan for any real estate needs, and I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking about buying or selling!

I recently purchased my first home with the help of Thang and Ryan. I thought the process was going to be difficult and overwhelming, however with their help it wasn’t either of those things. Thang and Ryan went above and beyond all my expectations. They always answered my questions in a timely manner, they were incredibly knowledgeable and helped break things down in a way that was very understandable, and they were patient and never rushed the process. I could tell they do this work because they are passionate about helping people find a place to call their own. Thang and Ryan both helped me find a place that feels like the perfect home for me. Ryan was the best realtor I could have asked for in looking for homes to buy. I had sought after many and he always let me know potential cost items like older water heaters, electric panels, etc. I told him areas I was looking for and size of houses, even styles! He had sent me more than I could even see that I would fall in love with. I finally found my dream home and he was so incredibly knowledgeable about what the house had and any long term flaws we could have been looking at. Luckily I bought a newly built home that is under a builders warranty so if anything faulted I wouldn’t be out of money right away. With my schedule I don’t get off work until 4/5pm so viewing homes would only work after that. Many, many times Ryan had made viewing appointments to accommodate my work life and even had planned out appointments till 9pm!! When going through the buying process I wasn’t stressed at all. Any questions I had Ryan was there to answer immediately and gave me plenty of resources to help me through the process. I even closed within 30 days of putting an offer in! If I ever make a decision to move to another location or get a bigger house, I will continue to go through Ryan. He had made the whole buying process a breeze and insanely stress free! I had the pleasure of working with Ryan on finding my first home! He is incredibly attentive, and really listens to your wants and needs. He did his research before each visit and had plenty of information to share with me. I asked a TON of questions - he never made me feel like my questions were dumb and also explained them in a way that a first-time home buyer could easily understand. The process wasn't always easy, but Ryan made it as easy as he could. He was always available when I got wrapped up in the stresses of home buying. Even after purchasing my home, Ryan still checks in to make sure I have important information and that everything is great. His follow-through is amazing!
