My husband and I have been discussing a second home purchase near our daughter and soon to be son-in-law in Colorado. I started researching real estate agents in Summit County, an area we were super excited about. I came across Ryan Van Gundy’s profile and read his rave reviews. A strong family man with exceptional professional principles and a contagious smile led me to contact him and start a discussion about our family dream. From our first conversation, Ryan was extremely informative about the local market, its trends and property values, and was so personable! Together, we created a real time property search that met our preferred timeline, needs and wishes. After attempting to secure a couple of opportunities, Ryan and his marketing assistant Luke Foster went above and beyond in service we never could have imagined! Ryan met with specific owners to establish a positive rapport, whose property was an A+ match for us. He was offered an opportunity to video their home, share it with our family and secured a showing. Ryan and Luke excel in exuding professional business practices and stellar ethics. Although I’m a top producing real estate agent here in northern IL, our family needed trusted advice to navigate an unfamiliar market. We were in the “best” hands working with the Van Gundy Team. Our dream came true when we were introduced to an off-market mountain home, and negotiated terms, conditions and price; a win-win for all involved. Ryan and Luke surprised and delighted us with a second showing invite, showcasing the breathtaking sunset. We did not ask for this sunset showing, they invited us! We are proud owners of a mountain home that offers penthouse panoramic views of the national forest from the back elevation and the majestic Keystone mountain range from the front elevation, all from floor-to-ceiling viewing windows and a private covered deck. We would not have been introduced to our amazing 1,800 sq. ft. dream condo if it were not for the Van Gundy Team. They are our real estate agents for life and also our new friends for life. Ryan was fantastic to work with and quickly answered every question we sent his way! We learned so much from Ryan to make us comfortable so when the time came to put it an offer, we knew we were making the right decision. He knew all of the unique STR requirements to make sure we purchased in the right location! I'd definitely work with Ryan again and highly recommend him for any first-time or experienced buyer.
