About Sadie
Sadie bought her first home, a little fixer-upper, at the age of 24 and since then has bought and sold 2 more. In her personal real estate journey, she's "up-sized" and now she's "down-sized" to tiny, but no matter the size, finding the right home for herself is all part of what brought her to becoming a real estate broker.
Sadie grew up 13 miles outside a very, very small town, was homeschooled through 5th grade, attended the local high school, then went on to College of the Redwoods and Humboldt State University, majoring in Business Administration and Economics.
At 25, Sadie moved to the "huge" town of Florence, she calls it huge because it has stoplights, and where she grew up there still isn't a stoplight in the entire county. She relocated here to run her family's retail store, and she's still honored to do that. She's been the manager and buyer for Stitch & Sole, our shoe and clothing store, for 17 years and she loves working in the heart of Old Town Florence.
From the moment Sadie drove over the iconic Siuslaw Bridge into Florence, she knew that she was home. She's been asked a lot over the years why at 25 she chose to move to a town with so many retirees, and her answer is always the same, "who wouldn't want to live here? Florence has it all....ocean, lakes, river, hiking, events and the list goes on and on". Sadie fell in love with the people, the beauty and the feeling of community that is Florence.
She's a proud member of the Rotary Club of Florence for over 15 years, giving back to the community that has given her so much.
She's blessed with 5 nephews. That's right, 5 boys, ranging from 4 to 18. She's also the "mom" to two rescued puppies, Petals and Bodi.
Sadie's passion for helping people find the right fit, either in a pair of shoes or a home is what brings her complete joy.
