About Sam

A licensed REALTOR in Georgia and South Carolina, Sam has 13 years of experience marketing and selling over $95M in real estate, from luxury villas on Anguilla BWI in the Caribbean at what is now Four Seasons Anguilla, to the Montage Collection at Palmetto Bluff, in Bluffton, SC and at Savannah Quarters for the last 5 years representing clients throughout the Savannah Metro area. Originally from Dallas, TX, Sam received his BBA from Baylor University in Waco, TX, an MBA (Finance) from SMU in Dallas, and a Ph.D. (Strategic Management) from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

Prior to entering the real estate industry, Sam was an investment banker in Texas advising municipal clients in their issuance of over $2 billion in bonds and notes; later serving as an Associate Vice Provost of Purdue University and Founding Director of Purdue’s #1-ranked technology-ventures acceleration program. He has assisted new-venture companies across the spectrum of biotech, scientific instrumentation, software development, transportation, aviation, construction, and technology development, and the Venture Club of Indiana, serving as a strategy consultant, board member, and advisory board member. He was the Founding CEO, President, and Co-Founder of two technology-development companies in Indiana, while teaching Competitive Strategy, Advanced Managerial Finance, Leadership and Supervision, Technology Management, and Entrepreneurship as Adjunct Professor at Purdue University and Indiana Wesleyan University. As a result, Sam can often be conversant in the business and technical fields of his clients, assisting them in identifying luxury homes that suit their lifestyles and professional priorities in life.

Sam and his wife, Laurie, also a REALTOR, have a daughter and son-in-law living in Mt. Pleasant, SC. They are delighted to be living and serving their real estate clients in the purchase and sale of their residences throughout the historic, artistic, lifestyle mecca that is the Greater Savannah community, characterizing the Lowcountry as “the best, most enjoyable, and most dynamic place ever lived.” Forty years after playing his acoustic guitar as a solo act and in a band in college, he still enjoys sitting in for the occasional jam session!
