Sancha Man Rai was born in Bhutan. He spent most of his early years in Nepal as a refugee. With a growing interest in learning and helping others, he graduated from Tribhuvan University in Nepal with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in English Literature and Geography and a Master’s Degree in Sociology. Sancha accumulated over 10 years of teaching and school administration experience in Nepal. When he moved to America, his passion for helping others allowed him to work with the resettlement of refugees here in Pittsburgh. Sancha worked for Governor Tom Wolf as an advisory commissioner for Asian American Affairs, and as Chairman for the Board of Directors of the Bhutanese Community Association of Pittsburgh. Throughout his life, Sancha has enjoyed working with a variety of people from different nationalities and cultures. He speaks multiple languages including English, Nepali, Hindi, and Urdu. During his time in Pittsburgh, he found that the people he works with and advise have a lot of questions involving real estate. With no professional in the field to turn to that could interpret the information, he decided to pursue the answers to their questions. Sancha became increasingly involved in real estate and serving as their trusted advisor to their real estate needs. He is currently working with Realty One Group Gold Standard as a Realtor, and has certifications in property, casualty and life insurance.
