About Sarah
As a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker, Sarah Aucoin values relationships over transactions.
“I am education-focused and love building relationships with my clients instead of just selling them a house. I want them to feel comfortable and know they can confide in me,” she says. “I believe that the home-buying process will naturally happen through that relationship.”
Sarah earned her real estate license in November 2017, but her passion for real estate began growing up in Uptown New Orleans, where she developed a deep love for the city's rich culture. “It’s a main reason I became a real estate agent. I’ve always loved New Orleans and appreciated our thick, rich culture,” she shares.
Her upbringing also included a deep love of riding horses, which allowed her to travel extensively across the country, giving her a unique perspective on how New Orleans stands out among American cities.
During her senior year in high school, Hurricane Katrina struck, altering the course of Sarah's life. The devastation led her family to relocate temporarily, where she met Nicholas, who would become her husband. This life-changing event marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Sarah and Nicholas attended college together in Baton Rouge, where Sarah initially pursued a career as a court reporter from 2009 to 2017. However, she soon realized her true calling was in real estate. In February 2017, she decided to make the switch and quickly found success, putting her first home under contract within 30 days.
Sarah's success continued to grow. By 2020, she was a top-producing agent, closing the highest number of units at Coldwell Banker. She maintained her top-tier status in subsequent years, recording $15.5 million in sales volume in 2022, even through her pregnancy. Sarah values the flexibility of her career, which allows her to balance work with spending time with her family.
Family is at the heart of Sarah's life. She cherishes time with her husband Nicholas, a CPA, their son, Robert (Bear) Aucoin and daughter, Louise Aucoin. They enjoy entertaining in their dream home in Uptown New Orleans, purchased in 2020. Giving back is also central to Sarah's life; she has been deeply involved in the Junior League of New Orleans, where she developed her leadership skills.
Sarah’s energetic and selfless approach makes a significant difference in the lives of those she serves, always emphasizing relationships over real estate.
