We had the very pleasant experience and wonderful opportunity to work with Sarah McLaren on the sale of our home in McLean and the purchase of a new home in Country Club Hills in Arlington.

My husband and I are older and have bought and sold many homes in our lifetime. I have to say, unequivocally, that working with Sarah was our best experience with a realtor.

In preparing to put the house on the market, Sarah gave invaluable advice on staging, had a pricing and realtor tour, and held two open houses. She sold our home in 3 weeks -- unheard of in our neighbored where houses have stayed on the market for months, even years! She negotiated very favorable terms for price, settlement and move out date. We, the sellers, and the buyer felt it was a fair, friendly and equitable transaction.

On the purchase of our home which was a new build, she negotiated modifications (changing walls, finishes, etc.) and researched zoning issues, a process we never could have navigated on our own.

We were extremely impressed with Sarah’s professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and follow through on all aspects of our sale and purchase. We have no hesitation in recommending Sarah as an outstanding realtor.

I had a great first-time homebuyer experience in DC with Sarah! She was patient with my questions and requests, very responsive in our communications, and clearly very knowledgeable about the DC market. I also took her recommendations for service providers (inspection, mortgage, etc) and also had good experiences with those individuals, so it's clear she has a good network here! I appreciated her thoroughness in making sure I got complete responses when I had questions for the sellers, condo building developer, or title company. Also can't say enough about how her positive and calm demeanor were so helpful in reassuring me throughout the process as a first-time buyer!
