About Sarah
Sarah Quinn opened the mailbox and as sorted through the flyers, bills, and junk; a booklet caught her eye. It was for the local community college. She quickly scanned the booklet and saw the confirmation that she was looking for, they offered a real estate program.
On New Year’s Eve 2013, right before the bells tolled a new beginning, Sarah had a moment of clarity. Sarah and her husband, Patrick, had been struggling financially for a long time and did not see much of a future for family in Eugene, where they lived. She had been thinking for a while about what they could do, Sarah knew she had to do something, but her whole life, Sarah never felt passionate about anything until she became a mother. Then, that frigid winter night, Sarah heard that her grandfather had passed away. As Sarah looked back on her memories of him, she remembered some of the happiest moments of her childhood were with her grandfather, looking at houses, and watching real estate TV shows. In that moment, Sarah made a big decision.
Sarah was determined to be a Realtor so much so that Sarah and Patrick put all their eggs in that basket. Within six weeks, Sarah finished her classes and got her license. Not long after, they left Eugene behind for a fresh start in Florence. Both Sarah and Patrick have always loved the coast and knew they wanted those experiences on the water for their daughters. When they arrived, Sarah and Patrick had to build a new life for themselves from scratch.
Sarah and Patrick’s new lives in Florence were far from easy in the beginning. Their housing fell through, and they had to find somewhere else to live in just two weeks. Sarah did not know anyone and was starting this whole new career. On top of it all, Sarah and Patrick’s daughters were still babies at the time. This life change was a lot but after becoming a mother, Sarah found a determination she never knew she had. Sarah was overwhelmed with ambition to succeed for her girls.
Sarah and Patrick scraped and skimped and stretched what little money they had and made it work living on nothing. Life in Florence was hard in the beginning, and Sarah pulled long hours at the office doing all she could. None of their successes would have been possible without Patrick. He was and continues to be an unbelievably supportive partner and a fantastic father. Patrick stayed home to take care of their girls while Sarah focused on making her career work. They found a dynamic together to balance each other out and they got through those difficult years. They started their new life, their grand adventure, all on their own. There was no family nearby to help with the move or their girls, it was up to Sarah an Patrick to make everything happen.
After about four years, Sarah and Patrick finally felt like they could breathe again. Their journey to success in Florence was a long road, but by the time they made it the gamble had paid off. They created this new life, this new home, and Sarah found a career that she’s passionate about. What Sarah realized along the way was that with enough hard work, passion, and determination, anything is possible. When Sarah and Patrick bought their first home in 2020, it was the culmination of all they have worked for and a glimpse of all the good still to come.
Whenever Sarah is not working, she enjoys fishing, crabbing, clamming, swimming, and playing in Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments. Sarah’s favorite part of being a Realtor is getting to meet so many different people on the path to helping them achieve their dreams.
Wherever clients are on their real estate journey, they have unique needs. Sarah always starts the process by getting to know her clients because first and foremost, we are all people. Once they get to know each other, they will work together to create a plan to help clients achieve their goals.
Relationships matter more to Sarah than any transactions and that is why Sarah will always put her client’s needs first. Over the years, Sarah has done everything in real estate from commercial to residential and she is confident she can help her clients get where you are going. Not only that, but she also wants to help set her clients up for long-term success by giving her clients all the information they need to make the best decision possible, navigating the roadblocks for them, and being there every step of the way, Sarah hopes to get her clients started on the road for success now and in the years to come. Once the transaction is over, Sarah will continue to support them in the pursuit of their goals as her client's lifelong Realtor.
