Scott McChesney

Owner/principal broker Scott McChesney has been a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years and recently achieved ‘Best of Zillow’ status; rated by buyers and sellers in our area in the top 10% of all Premier Agents. Scott is the 3rd highest ranking agent for cumulative property sales since 2016 among the entire South-Central Board of Realtors. He decided to follow in his father's footsteps after earning his BA in Spanish and Economics from Hobart College in Geneva, NY, and working for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. He plays an active role in the community and proudly supports various local committees and organizations: Mettawee Community School; Pawlet Public Library; Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department; Junior Instructional Snowsports Program (JISP); Bennington County Habitat for Humanity; and Pawlet Community Church. Scott has been a parent volunteer and school coach for the last 20 years and is currently serving his second term on the Mettawee School District Board. He is a father of four. He and his wife, Phoebe, live with their two children in Pawlet where they enjoy outdoor activities together.
