Scott has resided 17 years on the north shores of Lake Norman with his family and their two dogs.

Scott considers Lake Norman and the Charlotte area in general as a  great place to raise a family. The rewards for living in North Carolina include: great schools, low property taxes, plenty of sunshine that provide for an active lifestyle with the amenities of Charlotte and quick access to the mountains and the oceans.
