Working with Scott was a pleasure! He sent suggestions for homes for us to look at every day, and was always immediately responsive and amazingly fast to get us appointments to look at houses of interest. In this current market, with many houses flying off the market within hours, that was truly an important component of our search. Additionally, even though our search involved several visits to houses a good hour or more from Scott's home base, he somehow always made time to squeeze us into his busy schedule and get us into those homes in a flash - again, super important market in this crazy market.

One area where we would have appreciated a little more guidance from Scott was on strategies for making an offer - asking price? above? how much? Start with best offer or reserve something to meet a counteroffer? Granted, with a market this crazy and atypical, it's difficult to assess things as normal. Nonetheless, we felt Scott's years of experience in real estate might have yielded some advice or recommendations. His point to us was that how much we should offer all depended on how badly we wanted to get the house. I get that, and that's always the case. Even so, we just felt an opinion from a pro would have been helpful to a couple of inexperienced buyers like ourselves.

We were referred to Scott through a friend of ours. Our expectations were high and Scott delivered well above those expectations. Looking for a home during the pandemic wasn’t an easy one and after being very close on closing on a home, my wife and I decided the home was not right and told Scott we wanted to start our search from scratch. 3 months of showings and 2 houses we had contracts on, was all behind us. Scott never complained, knew, how bad we wanted to close before the end of summer, and got us in our forever home. I’d recommend using Scott, he always does what’s right for the buyer.

Scott recently helped us with the purchase of our new home. We all know that buying a home is a highly emotional endeavor. In the midst of this, our realtor and dear, dear friend suddenly passed away. Scott quickly stepped in and navigated our hearts and our heads. Scott was sincere in comforting us for our loss, yet smart, strategic and disciplined. It was a difficult balancing act, but he juggled it perfectly.

You spend a good deal of time with your realtor, and that time needs to be productive, stress-free and enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend Scott to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. This was my first time buying and Scott was excellent at keeping in touch and making sure I had what I needed and wanted. He made sure the area I was looking at was safe, fun, and affordable...not always that easy to come by during a pandemic. Scott is a pleasure to work with and makes the process so much fun with jokes and stories, putting an ease to the stress and nervousness that comes with any big long term commitment. If I could give Scott more than 5 stars I would.

When you first meet Scott, it is not difficult to tell that he loves what he does. He loves working with people and always looks out for his clients best interests, something that you don’t always find in an Real Estate broker. Even after we moved in, he still checks up on us to make sure that we are happy and doing well in our new place. He’s a great guy and now a great friend.

His negotiation skills are also unparalleled. He was able to get my roommates and I the exact lease terms that we were looking for when it didn’t seem like it was possible.

I would recommend Scott to anybody in the Chicagoland area who is looking for a home as I will be reaching out to him when I am looking for my next residence. He makes the whole process easy and stress free. You won’t regret it!

When I had to sell my mother's house, Scott stepped in to help. Scott is the absolute very best for someone who is trying to sell a house from out of town. I live in NYC, so Scott was my on-the-ground resource for fixing basement leaks to finding clean-out services. I could not have done this without him.
