About Scott

Hello! I'm Scott, a seasoned professional with a diverse background and a passion for helping others achieve their dreams. I was born in Southern California but spent my formative years on the beautiful Barbee Chain of Lakes, where I graduated from Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN. Following high school, I briefly pursued higher education at Ball State University before realizing my true calling lay in the exciting worlds of business and sales.



At the age of 21, I embarked on my professional journey by managing a grocery store, honing my skills in management and customer relations. In 1985, I seized the opportunity to join The Collins Group, starting from an entry-level sales position and ascending the ranks to retire in 2021 as a Senior Vice President of Sales. Throughout my tenure, I played a pivotal role in the company's growth from a modest team of 16 to a thriving workforce of over 300.



Outside the corporate arena, I am a passionate musician, lending my talents to "The Bandits" and even performing my original music with Barbi Sexton at two sold-out Toby Keith shows. Additionally, I've performed stand-up comedy, sharing the stage with comedic legend Bob Zany.



When I'm not immersed in the world of business or entertaining audiences, you can find me indulging in my love for cooking, camping, and spending quality time with my children and friends, not to mention our 3 loveable dogs. Travel is another passion of mine, and I dream of retiring to my own slice of paradise in Belize, while still enjoying summers in Indiana.



Recently, I transitioned from the corporate world to real estate, where I'm dedicated to helping my neighbors in Marion and Grant County achieve the American Dream of homeownership.
