Sean Mack

Sean was born in a small rural town in Western Connecticut surrounded by rolling hills and protected forest land. After graduating high school, he attended the SAE Institute in New York City where he earned a degree in audio engineering. After school, he lived in Manhattan for another year while working in a recording studio before choosing to leave the city and head south in search of a home more suited to his lifestyle.

Despite being a proud New Englander, he found familiarity and peace in the lush green mountains of Asheville and the incredible natural beauty of Western North Carolina.

As a sound engineer, he has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of incredible musicians from around the world as well as getting to know many of the talented artists that comprise his local music scene in the Asheville area. He feels blessed to live in a city that has such a vibrant community of artists and musicians and believes it is one of the most valuable attributes of his wonderful city.

Since relocating to Asheville ten years ago, he has seen the town steadily grow and is excited to be a part of helping people find their place here. As a transplant, he understands the needs and desires of folks looking to find a home in a new place, whether they are coming from near or far. He is always thrilled to help people discover how special the area really is and to assist them when they decide to plant roots there.

On a personal note, he is an avid traveler. He has visited every state in the nation with the exception of two (Alaska and Hawaii) and in the past few years, he has been lucky enough to go on two separate six-month backpacking trips with his lovely wife. One brought them through Central and South America and the other all over Southeast Asia. He loves meeting new people and learning the intricacies of different cultures and backgrounds. He also has an undying love for hiking, which is another reason he feels fortunate because the southern Appalachian Mountains are certainly among the most naturally beautiful in the entire country.
