About Sergio

Sergio Cesario, a native of Brazil and an international broadcast journalist, joined the Douglas Elliman team in 2014 with a focus on representing international clients and investors and expanding the lucrative global real estate business.

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Sergio earned his Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University. He holds a solid record of success as an international journalist for a number of high profile media outlets in Toronto, Montreal, Connecticut and New York City.

Sergio discovered his love of real estate through his own experiences buying, selling and renovating his own homes in different cities. Later, working with his friends to find their homes in New York, Sao Paulo and Miami, he realized a desire to embrace the opportunities available in a fast-paced Miami luxury Real Estate market.

With a penchant for client satisfaction and superb negotiation skills, Sergio is constantly striving to raise the bar in his professional life. "I am a professional who uses the 'here and now' approach. This is the moment and this is the place to be," said Sergio about his focus on real estate.

When we decided to buy a vacation home in a different country, Sergio from The Cesario Group at Douglas Elliman Real Estate was the agent we had in mind. He is professional, experienced, helpful, very patient and passionately cares about his job. He managed the entire process smoothly and made it all seem very simple.

Considering we were in three different countries (Australia, USA and Italy) with different languages and different time zones, Sergio was always available to answer our questions and concerns. His advice and support through a complex process (site seen virtually only) was invaluable.

Sergio made what could have been a stressful and difficult situation as seamless as it could be. His calming manner worked wonderfully for us.

We could not have done it without him. Highly recommended.

Sergio from the Cesario Group was amazing to work with. We needed to find a short term rental and then buy a condo in an area we were completely new to, and Sergio handled everything perfectly. I knew I wanted to work with him when he answered my initial phone call in the middle of the night in his time zone. Throughout the whole process, he answered my MANY questions, found inspectors, lenders, and jumped through condo association hoops. Without him, we definitely would not have found our dream home. Always polite, professional, kind, and punctual, I cannot recommend him more highly.
