Seth and his team are AMAZING! After going through 2 brokers/realtors before Seth, that kept losing offers to out of state investors with cash and two recommendations for Seth he found my place on the first day out! I was looking for a place with a 1/4 acre at minimum on the outskirts of Corvallis and although I'm a bit further, he landed me my forever home with 35+ acres for less than a home outside of Corvallis. My house selling process was not a simple one. I had an older property, neighbor issues and above that, I personally changed my listing date a few times. This resulted is me working with Seth’s team for over a year (due to my personal needs to change the sale date). Amongst all of that, Seth and his team were beyond professional and kind while making me feel like a human, not a paycheck. They let me guide the pace and at no point were they pushy. I don’t know of many realtors who would have been so wonderful to work with (and I met with several before deciding to work the Seth). When we were under contract for a sale, Seth set up contractors for me and even met them at the property after I’d moved. He and Jenn were always responsive and lovely to deal with. Everyone would be lucky to work with Seth and his team for any real estate transaction. Thank you, Waddell Group!

By carefully listening, and accurately reading our reactions, he skillfully narrowed our search without applying any pressure to buy. And by going the extra mile (virtual showings via Facetime, taking us on a tour of Corvallis on our one two day visit, setting up and attending the home inspection, doing the final walk thru), Seth guided us to closing in under 45 days from first engagement. I've worked with a half dozen realtors in my time, in different cities/states, and I have to say that working with the Waddell Group was an outstanding experience--with an A++ rating. I highly recommend them.
Seth was so "hands on" and always eager to help, but at the same time, I appreciated how he never pressured us or made us feel like we needed to pull the trigger...even after visiting dozens of properties. His input on the houses we saw was insightful, productive, and practical--he knows his business and knows a lot about home construction, the rental market, repairs and preferred vendors. He came to every property viewing with us, and even came onsite during every inspection. His support group--especially Jenn, was superb, and always was a step ahead of me. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable! As a licensed real agent and 25 years in real estate finance, I would highly recommend Seth and Jenn! We originally found them as the listing agent on a property we were interested in. We are out of state and they were super accommodating to show the property to our son that is attending OSU. While that house was not for us, they continued to assist us in looking at other properties, even picking up our son in the rain to look at a property. After a few viewings and two offers, we were able to secure a property perfect for our son and his friends. Hopefully the university will resume classes in the fall!!

I write this review about a week after closing on the house Seth Waddell and his staff helped me sell. It’s the second transaction I’ve had with him. This last transaction was made difficult by demanding buyers and their inept realtor. Seth helped guide me through the process, options, and final decisions that ultimately led to a successful sale. My experience with him leads me to believe that he is among the best professionals I have worked with. He was prompt in response and always clear. Seth listened carefully during our conversations, always wanting to make sure he acted in my best interest. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about him. Seth is an A+ real estate agent! As first-time home-buyers, we were nervous about the idea of getting into a tough market in the Corvallis area. With Seth, we felt like we had a shot and that we were seeing homes that were within our budget and in places we wanted to live. Seth did such a great job of communicating with us throughout the process. And he was patient with us when we looked at places and were disappointed/discouraged. He was always available via text or calling and very quick to return emails and messages. I really appreciate that he was not pushy, gave us lots of helpful information throughout the process, and was ready to jump in when we were ready. With the help of Seth, we were able to make an offer, get an accepted offer, navigate the entire process of actually buying the home, and finally closing. We even closed early. Honestly, we had a perfect home-buying experience (even though we had prepared ourselves for the worst - a long, drawn out hunt). Seth answered every single question we had and provided us with excellent resources (inspection, roofing estimate, mortgage help, etc.). He was there with us through the entire process and for that, I can't thank him enough. We feel like we got exceptionally lucky and a huge part of that was because we had Seth's help. We're happily (still moving in) in our new home and we're so happy we sent Seth a message back at the beginning of February! If we ever decide to move, Seth will be the first person we call.

My husband and I worked with Seth Waddell, recently. We both recommend him highly. He was so accommodating of our needs, schedule, and family situation. He showed us a great deal of respect when it came to us communicating our concerns about properties he showed us. He gave us the time and space we needed and offered his educated opinion on things he thought were important for us to consider. He was also very open to discussing the offer we made, gave his opinion, and respected our decision and personal strategy.

When we were determined to look at properties during the week of Thanksgiving week, Seth (who was going out of town with his family) set us up with a colleague who showed them to us on his behalf. We really appreciated his willingness to accommodate us, as well as the faith he had in his colleague who, obviously, had a great amount of respect for Seth.

He's a super kind man with a heart of gold. He has the kind of personality that is a balance between being professional and down-to-earth. He's fun. and enjoyable.
