WELCOME HOME! Shamay is a native Metro Atlantan and current Athenian. She was born and raised in the Decatur/Emory area, and she attended Medlock Elementary and Druid Hills High. Shamay met my husband of 25+years at The University of Georgia (The Georgia Bar, actually). She knows the Atlanta and Athens Metro areas like the back of her hand. They have two boys, one in high school, one at UGA, and 2 spoiled pups. When she is not working, she goes on family hikes, travels, have movie nights and binge watch parties, and their home is filled with art and music. Shamay have been a realtor since 2011. In addition, she holds several designations as a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE®) as well as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®). The Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation is for REALTORS® who want to be able to meet the special needs of maturing Americans when selling, buying, relocating, or refinancing residential or investment properties. She is also an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®). The ABR® designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. In addition to her real estate experience, she has 18+ years of business management experience, including several years managing a real estate office so she knows what it takes to get the job done. Shamay is a strong negotiator, and her relationships with her clients mean the world to her; Shamay’s attention does not fade after closing.
